Office Manager position available
Amenda Clinic is searching for a full-time medical office manager.
Part-time (25-35 hours a week) may also be possible.
The ideal candidate has: excellent communication, multi-tasking skill, ability to work in an environment with some distractions, detail-orientation, confidentiality skills, and a kind and compassionate demeanor. Healing begins with the client’s first interaction with the clinic.
Duties include: coordinating all aspects of administration and office management for this multi-practitioner clinic, providing reception, managing receptionists/work-study students, medical billing, managing the medicinary, updating social media, and website, assistance with HIPAA and OSHA compliance, and staying current with Oregon labor statutes and requirements.
Liaisons include: front desk to practitioners, between labs and practitioners, with outside practitioners and referrals, between patients and practitioners, with pharmacies, and with electronic health records. We currently work with ChARM as practice management and EHR.
Position includes 10-15 hours a week of reception (less if position is part-time), and will also include interfacing with accounting, integrating new employees, scheduling patients, scheduling staff, billing insurance and patients, and working with employee contracts, medicinary, medical supply, and office supply management.
Requirements: Prior experience managing a medical office. Great people skills, in terms of interfacing with patients, the public, and managing staff. A love for holistic medicine, mental health and addiction healing work. A calming, warm, and boundaried approach with people who are sensitive or in crisis. Deep familiarity with naturopathic medicine a bonus.
Terms: Full-time salaried position, or part-time hourly position. Limited benefits available after three months, individual health insurance after six months if full time. Compensation commensurate with experience, between $36,500 and $42,500 annually (DOE) if full-time, or $17.60-$20.50/hour if part-time (DOE). Lmited work-from-home hours may be available after six months.
